Smoke Testing

California Law requires annual opacity smoke testing on diesel vehicles with GVW of 6000 or greater. Vehicle smoke emissions must be below 40% opacity for 1991 and newer, 55% for engines 1990 and older. Any vehicle newer than 4 years does not need testing. Avoid a citation or possible audit, maintain and test your engine.

California State Law requires that you smoke test your fleet once a year and maintain your records for at least 2 years. We specialize in California and Nevada statewide mobile testing.
